Time

For everything there is a Reason & a Season,
A time for war, and a time for peace.
And a time for every matter under heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to seek, and a time to lose;
A time to keep, and a time to throw away;
A time to tear, and a time to sew;
A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate ...

The Real Me

If only you knew the real me,
Then you would see how sad I am, How much I cry, And how I want to die.
If only you knew what it was like to be me,
Then you would know what it feels like to be hated,
How it feels to have no one care about you,And you would know how much pain I am in.
But you're not me.
So you'll never know what it's like to be me, And I can never let you see the real me,
So for now I'll just smile and act like everything is okay.

Three passions have governed my life:
The longings for love, the search for knowledge, And unbearable pity for the suffering of [humankind].
Love brings ecstasy and relieves loneliness. In the union of love I have seen In a mystic miniature the prefiguring vision Of the heavens that saints and poets have imagined. With equal passion I have sought knowledge. I have wished to understand the hearts of people. I have wished to know why the stars shine.
Love and knowledge led upwards to the heavens, But always pity brought me back to earth; Cries of pain reverberated in my heart Of children in famine, of victims tortured And of old people left helpless. I long to alleviate the evil, but I cannot, And I too suffer. This has been my life; I found it worth living.

Peace

What is peace…? Just wanted to bring up this topic, as to see what peace means to all;

       Peace is a quality describing a society or a relation that is operating harmoniously. The potential causes for losing peace are insecurity, social injustice, economic / religious / organizational / political  inequality, racism/nationalism, the list goes on…

          There are different believes for peace around the world. Buddhists believe that peace can be attained once all suffering ends. Jews/ Christians believes that true peace comes from a personal relationship with god.

When do we lose our peace ?

  • When we interfere in others business, without being asked???
  • When we do not accept/follow, which cannot be cured
  • When we are unable to forgive/forget
  • When we feel jealous
  • When we bite off more than we can chew
  • When we don’t meditate regularly
  • When we leave our mind Vacant
  • When we regret
Remember, don’t waste time comparing your life to others who seems to be more fortunate, being fortunate is based on how much peace you have, not how many luxuries you have. Practice from the heart to make peace with what is to others, and then life gives you more help to change things far better than we thought.

No One can go back and make a brand new start. But anyone can start now and make a brand new ending...
Peace is not something we can wish for., its something we make, something we do, something we are, something we give… We should always remember that peace is not god’s gift to people,. But our gift to each other….
